Meet R Pappammal, a natural farmer from Coimbatore. She is 105-years-old and was granted the Padma Shri this year for popularising natural farming. Pappammal originates from a generation of farmers who think in doing the effort themselves. She owns a 2.5-acre farm in her town Thekkampatti. For many years, she has actually worked carefully with the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University.
