Some Pokémon-themed aircrafts are beginning to appear in the skies in Japan.
Solaseed Airlines, a regional provider based upon the Japanese island of Kyushu, debuted a Pokémon-painted airplane on December 19. Its first flight was from Miyazaki City to Tokyo’s Haneda airport.
The airplane belongs to a tourism collaboration in between The Pokémon Business (which owns and certifies the characters) and different areas of Japan. Miyazaki, on the eastern coast of Kyushu, is the 8th prefecture to sign up with the collaboration.
