Lincoln Mullen, Partner Teacher, History and Art History, got $49,949 from Grant for the Web for a task at Mason’s Roy Rosenzweig Center for History and Brand-new Media (RRCHNM). RRCHNM will develop an open-source software application module that allows cultural heritage organizations to accept micro-donations. The objective of this task is to make it possible for these organizations to accept percentages of financing from specific users of their material in a manner that appreciates their core worths of openness and public gain access to. Organizations will therefore have the ability to fundraise from the users of their sites. RRCHNM will likewise utilize this module to allow its own passive income stream.
