Travis Dunn, a previous Army Ranger, was shot in the upper torso throughout a six-hour firefight in Nangarhar province, Afghanistan, on Dec. 2, 2014. The bullet took a trip through his underarm, severed his spine and left him incapacitated from the waist down.
