A school-record 106 Northwestern student-athletes made Huge 10 Identified Scholar acknowledgment, the conference workplace revealed Wednesday. For the very first time ever, all 19 university programs had at least one recipient of the prominent honor. This year’s overall of 106 Identified Scholars shatters the previous school record (86) embeded in 2018-19.

” To have 106 Huge 10 Identified Scholars is an amazing testimony to the steadfast dedication of quality shown by our student-athletes, their coaches and our scholastic assistance personnel.”Jim Phillips Identified Scholar Award receivers need to be a recipient of Academic All-Big 10 Acknowledgment in the previous scholastic year, need to have been registered full-time at the organization for the whole previous scholastic year (2 terms or 3 quarters) and made a minimum GPA of 3.70 or much better throughout the previous scholastic year, omitting any summertime grades. The Academic All-Big 10 limit is a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater for a trainee’s scholastic profession. Huge 10 Professors Representatives developed the Identified Scholar Award in 2008 to supplement the Academic All-Big 10 program.
